Purpose: Apparel Embroidery is an internal business application that our staff uses to plan, create, schedule, and measure the marketing of our custom embroidery business, and to run supporting back-office workflows. It is not a public product — there is nothing to sign up for, and it is used only by our employees on our company’s own accounts.
What Apparel Embroidery does
- Marketing operations — plans, drafts, and schedules our marketing content (social posts, email campaigns, and Google Business Profile updates), with every publication reviewed by a person.
- Performance reporting — reads our own website search data (Google Search Console) and our own advertising data (Google Ads) to report on how our marketing is performing, including keyword research.
- Business workflow — manages our marketing calendar, prepares email drafts in our own Gmail account (it never sends mail on its own), stores working files in folders it creates in our Google Drive, and stages videos as private uploads to our own YouTube channel.
- Accounts payable reconciliation — a companion internal application compares vendor statements against our QuickBooks records to catch billing discrepancies.
How Apparel Embroidery connects to Google
The application connects to our own Google account through secure, authorized OAuth 2.0 connections and uses that access only for the internal features described above. It creates campaigns in our Google Ads account only in paused status — a person reviews and activates anything that spends money. Our use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
